Bend in the center to widen/flatten it a bit, then bend in near the gimbals. ![]() If your Grados are uncomfortable now the on-ear design isn't as comfortable as the K7- series, sure, but if your main concern is your head size there are a lot of tweaks that can deal with that. On-ear vs on-ear doesn't determine outright if it's a good fit. Good soundstage, luxurious look, you know. It works with Pop, Rap, EDM, mainstream music in general, action movies and it's still ok for audiophile genres as far as you are not extremely critical. ![]() It sounds like a tool (same happens with HD800)įidelio X2 is an all-rounder designed to please modern listeners, even out of low powered portable devices. When everything is right (Perfect recording -> Quality DAC -> Quality AMP -> K702) it plays almost there with the Sennheiser HD800 (almost), but when this is not the case they are way too flat, and revealing to be enjoyable. As suggested above, the X2 is quite easy to drive, so it will work fine with less.ĪKG K702 is a world class studio headphone designed to show you what's wrong in your recordings, it demands quality gear and believe me it will rule out good part of your recordings unless you are a classical and acoustic music purist playing always top class audiophile stuff.
